What the Cochrane Business Network is all about?
The Beginning
Founded in 2005 by Jim Messner the Cochrane Business Network (CBN) grew in popularity to include the development of several Chapters in Calgary as well. Working with local business groups the CBN offers regular meetings, learning opportunities and networking.
Attendees include those thinking of starting a new home based type business all the way to others who already have a well established bricks & mortar location.

Meetings
Meetings include informative Guest Speakers, hands-on Workshops and last but not least Networking.
We encourage learning and the building of valuable, trusted relationships within the group, knowing that too can increase the bottom line.
Topics will cover learnable strategies with proven methods to increase knowledge. We understand that often you are too busy working in your business to work on your business!

Shelly Kramer
Manager
Prior to her real estate career, banking was the platform from which her belief in the importance of customer service, privacy & confidentiality was based. Shelly is also a Certified Fitness Instructor and has been for close to 25 years. She states her greatest accomplishment was raising her three children!
Shelly continues to move forward in driving her business with genuine enthusiasm. She loves meeting new people, her background, fun & outgoing personality is why she was chosen to manage the CBN. Vivian Cox
Assistant
She enjoys meeting people while discovering the many commonalities they often have. Her passion is sharing ideas in regards to business, marketing, and discovering other’s successes. Vivian states family is always number one and in her spare time she enjoys demanding physical workouts and “Boot-camps.” When it comes to community activities she likes to get involved either on a Board of Directors or as a volunteer.
Her “pet peeve” is the lack of follow up in customer service. Having been burned a few times herself she makes it a point to follow up with anyone who chooses to use her services. Like the others at CBN please feel free to connect with Vivian.
