About

Our Story

Over 20 years of connecting Cochrane’s business community

Founded in 2005 by Jim Messner, the Cochrane Business Network has grown from a small group of entrepreneurs into a trusted community hub for local professionals and business owners.

The CBN fosters meaningful connections by hosting regular networking events, educational sessions, and collaborative opportunities designed to support business growth at every stage.

Whether you’re exploring a new home-based venture or managing a well-established brick-and-mortar business, CBN provides the resources and network to help you succeed.

Our Mission
Provide valued learning experiences to help local business people thrive.

We create spaces where learning feels practical, local and inspiring – helping every business owner take the next step forward.

Our Vision
Work together to build a better Cochrane business community.

By connecting people, ideas and opportunities, we strengthen the fabric of our local economy and community.

Our Values
Integrity • Learning • Connection

We believe in showing up with honesty, sharing knowledge freely, listening openly and building genuine relationships.
