Capacity Under Pressure
How to think clearly and prevent burnout
Ever feel constantly busy, but still behind – and not thinking as clearly as you’d like?
You’re not alone – and it’s not about capability. It’s about capacity.
In this session, Jamila Godfrey, founder of Village of Play, will introduce executive functioning skills – the mental processes behind how we plan, focus, make decisions and follow through.
When these are stretched or overloaded, we become reactive, scattered and more likely to burn out – especially when running a business.
You’ll learn:
• What executive functioning skills actually are (in plain English)
• Why they break down under pressure
• How this impacts your decision-making, focus and energy
• Practical ways to strengthen your capacity and prevent burnout
If you’ve been feeling stretched thin, reactive or close to burnout, this session will give you a practical way to understand what’s happening and how to change it.
